Awww…the Joy of Grandparenting!
Thank you all for stopping by my blog. This summer has been filled with wonderful real world things like grandbabies and conferences and well…life. It’s been a mix of wonderful, hard, and growing times and I am so happy to be back here to share it all with you.
Grandbabies…
Meet our sweet Granddaughter, Kaleigh Joy!
Children are surely an inheritance from the Lord.
We are thankful for the joy our sons and daughters bring to us. Now, we are in a season of great joy as Grandparents. We have been blessed by two precious children born within the past year. We have a handsome grandson and beautiful granddaughter.
Today’s Bible APP Verse of the Day reminded me of this great privilege:
“Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12
May we guide our children in the light of Christ each day!
By the way, did you know that we now we have our Grandparenting with Purpose DVD series available to Grandparents and Caregivers everywhere? We are so happy to share this resource.

Are you a grandparent? I’d love to hear about your grandchildren! 🙂
Blessings!

I found your website today thanks to a link from a Glenn Beck email. I have 4 grand babies; all born within a 25 month period…the last being born a week ago. I am reaping the reward of being a “stay at home” homeschooling mom of 3. I never expected being a grand parent would be this awesome. You invited us to tell about our grand kids so I thought I would share this sweet story. When our oldest granddaughter was 18 months old, she was playing in the next room with her dolls. She came to the kitchen and in her sweet 18 month old talk asked her momma to “pay” while taking her by the hand to lead her where she was playing with her dolls. DGD sat down in the floor and bowed her head with her hands clasped. It was then that her momma realized that she didn’t want her to “play” but instead …she had all of her dolls sitting with play dishes in front of them and she was asking her momma to “pray”. 🙂
My heart sings with joy over being a grand parent.
